Remember the old saying about 'not shooting the messenger'? Well, you probably shouldn't bite him either. An Ohio man was arrested after pepper-spraying a postal worker after not receiving a check he was expecting.

According to Ohio.com, our 25-year-old had been expecting a check in the mail and was waiting for his mail carrier to show up on a Saturday afternoon. When the 56-year-old postal worker showed up, he had no check and our guy went berserk.

He grabbed the postal worker’s pepper spray, squirted him in the eyes, and then started brawling with him in the street while a crowd gathered around them. Police showed up and had to use their own pepper spray to subdue the guy.

During the altercation he actually bit the postal worker's leg at least three times.

Didn't Garfield teach us that biting mail carrier's legs is a big no-no?
