Larimer County Colorado Chosen As Finalist For 2013 “Make A Difference Day All-Star Award”

We know that there are a lot of people that do a lot of good in our community, but Larimer County is getting some national recognition for all hard work and volunteering our citizens have done. There are only five finalists in the country and Larimer County made the cut along with other finalists from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas.

The 2013 Make A Difference Day All-Star Award voting is online at MakADifferenceDay.com. USA Weekend magazine is promoting the contest and wrote this nice little spotlight piece on Larimer County.

And get this, back in 2010 Larimer County won a National Make A Difference Day Award then as well.

If Larimer County comes out on top we will receive national headlines in an April issue of USA Weekend magazine and a $10,000 donation from the Gannett Foundation to be used for spreading volunteerism throughout the community and help out deserving nonprofits.
