If you visited Horsetooth Reservoir, west of Fort Collins, over the past decade or so, odds are you saw it at a time when the water levels were fairly low. Well, that could change this year. The reservoir's Facebook page was just updated to say that the water level is only 20-feet away from being "full", and just 4-feet away from the start-of-season average.

The Larimer County Parks page lists the reservoir as more than 76% full, as of today.

Here is the update Horsetooth put on Facebook:

Horsetooth's water level has reached an elevation of 5410 feet. That's only 20 feet from full and just 4 feet down from it's start-of-season average--and we're still filling!

This is great news, especially because just last fall, water levels at the reservoir reached near-record lows.
