The High Park Fire has burned approximately 52,068 acres, and is 15% contained. Last night, the fire managed to jump the Cache la Poudre River.

New evacuation orders have been issued for residents in the 9th filing of Glacier View, including from Eiger Road to Rams Horn Mountain Road and from the Mount Blanc Guardian Peak area to the north end of Mount Everest Drive. Click here for full evacuation info.

The High Park Fire Disaster Recovery Center is now open at Johnson Hall on the Colorado State University Campus. The center's hours are Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat.-Sun. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center will probably be open for three to four weeks. More info HERE.

The fire was caused by lightning.
