Something terrible happened in Greeley Friday night. Some scumbags broke into the Game Alliance video game store, stole just about everything of value inside, and trashed the place.

According to the Greeley Tribune, the owners of the shop are Jim and Cindy Knipschild and they just opened the store up in November and they want to open back up, but they only had liability insurance at the time of the crime. They were in the process of getting the rest of their insurance in place and had tens of thousands of dollars invested in the business' start-up costs, but lost more than $10,000 in Friday night's robbery and they are still trying to figure out what they will end up doing

The thieves stole cash, 3D TVs, video game consoles, video games, and even broke into the pool tables and arcade games to steal the quarters inside.

The crooks also broke into a nearby bookstore and a bar.

The Greeley Police are investigating and if you have any info that could help them find out whoever is behind these crimes please get in touch with them. They believe the robberies might be connected to a string of other downtown burglaries as well.

Game Alliance posted this pictures of the robbery to Facebook.

Stuff like this just makes me sick, these poor people had their life invested in this little shop and someone decides to come in and just destroy the place.

There has been a GoFundMe account created by the Game Alliance owner's sister to try and held out the three shops that were robbed and ransacked.

As of right now, the Game Alliance website reads, "Store Closed Due To Robbery." Here's to hoping they can get back on their feet soon and those crooks behind that robbery are brought to justice.
