A Florida man did not do anything to alter the perception that they have some of the stupidest criminals around after he left his wallet behind at the scene of a robbery he committed.

According to UPI, a convenience store in Ocala, Florida was robbed on a Friday night by two armed man in masks. Police found a wallet containing a state-issued ID belonging to a 22-year-old in the driveway behind the store that had been robbed.

That same 22-year-old was pulled over for driving with a headlight out the next morning and police connected him to the burglary thanks to the identification he'd left on the ground.

Noe he's in hot water and police are looking into him possibly being involved in a string of other convenience store robberies in the area.
