Durango Teen With Racy Yearbook Photo & Her Mom Arrested – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

You may remember a little while back, a Durango High School student made national headlines after her yearbook committee rejected her yearbook photo because it was too “racy”.
Well she is making headlines again, as her and her mom were arrested for getting a bunch of underage kids drunk at their home.
According to The Denver Post, the 18-year-old student and her 45-year-old mother were arrested at a party in their own home Sunday night.
Mom was at home “chaperoning” while plenty of underage guests were getting drunk. The police don’t look too fondly on that type of behavior. She was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest.
I guess mom wouldn’t talk to police and tried to run away and hide in her bedroom. The daughter tried to stop police from chasing her mom. The girl allegedly obstructed police as they tried to arrest her mother and then tried to escape a police cruiser when they detained her.
This mother ain’t winning any parent of the year awards; on top of this shining example she set for her daughter she was also arrested in June for resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer and trespassing.
Maybe every 80’s comedy ever written is wrong, but I figured that when a parents invites high school kids to their house for free booze and a rockin’ party, bad things happen and the cops usually show up.
