Dumb Criminal of the Day: Woman Sprays Ice Cream Truck Driver With Chemicals

A Utah woman faces misdemeanor charges after she allegedly sprayed an ice cream truck driver in the face with cleaning solution. Why did shy spray chemicals in the driver’s eyes? Because her prices were too high.

It’s true. According to the Huffington Post the 65-year-old woman actually told police she sprayed the woman because "she charges too much for ice cream."

You know we've all thought that ice cream prices were too high on at least one occasion in our lives, but I’m not sure how that translates to "Let‘s go spray the Good Humor driver in the face with cleaning chemicals."

Police reports show that this unlucky ice cream truck driver was briefly hospitalized after being hit in the eyes with Mean Green cleaner. And the woman who sprayer her was taken into custody after she threatened to punch responding police officers in the face and kick them in the groin.

The incident happened all the way back in August but charges were filed until this week.

“What would you do-oo-ooo…for a Klondike bar?”
