Drunk Guy Pulled Over Speeding After He’d Watch ‘The Fast and the Furious’

Drinking and watching a movie about fast cars led this dimwit to get in his own speedy car for some late night ‘drunk-drifting.’

According to the Gainesville Sun, a 21-year-old from Florida was spotted just before 3AM driving his Nissan 350Z well above the posted speed limit and when police gave chase he refused to pull over and ran numerous red lights and stop signs.

He eventually pulled over in a department store parking lot and the officer noted that his speech was slurred, he smelled of alcohol, and his eyes were bloodshot.

He stated that he had three beers and drove this way because he had watched ‘The Fast and the Furious.’

It pains me to think that adults, drunk or not, can conceivably think that trying to reenact dangerous and illegal scenes from movies can ever be a good idea.
