Over the weekend I was busy doing chores and then busy not feeling too well so I didn't make it to the theater again. Lame, I know, but it wasn't a total loss. I do have a thing called Netflix and finally got to watch a movie that has been sitting in my cue forever.

I am a fan of zombies so, my cue is has some random type of zombie movies in it and I decided to watch 'Doghouse' since it fell into that cateGORY. HAHA see what I did there? Anyway...'Doghouse' is not what I thought it was going to be. The description says:

A group of men head to a remote village to help one of their friends get over his divorce; when they get there, though, they discover that all the women have been infected with a virus that makes them man-hating cannibals.

Which in all fairness, the movie was exactly that. Except for some reason, since this is a british film, I was thinking it was going to be more along the lines of 'Shaun of the Dead'. It kind of was and then it wasn't at all.

This was full of some pretty funny moments and some way over the top moments that kind of added to the "joy" of the film. In a way this film kind of paid homage to the 'Evil Dead' franchise, and it is even mentioned in this film itself. But like I said, there are tons of moments that are just crazy.

It is kind of a dumb movie, but if you are a fan of campy zombie like flicks and have some free time, then you might want to check it out! Or you can just check out the trailer below to see if it is up your alley.

I give it 3 out of 5 ax wielding brides
