Dine And Dasher Impales Leg On Steel Fence [VIDEO] – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

Some people might call this karma; a man tried to skip out on paying for his dinner, but ended up with an 18-inch steel spike through his leg.

Common decency and hurdling can be crossed off of this guy's resume.

According to WHDH, our guy ate a nice dinner at Manchester's Hilton Garden Inn and decided he didn't want to pay for his meal. His brilliant dine-and-dash plan was to simply hop over a fence and escape.

But he didn't quite make the jump.

He landed on the pointy end of a steel fence and impaled his leg.

Firefighters had to cut through 18 inches of pole to free the unidentified man on Saturday night. He was responsive and didn't sustain any major injuries.

Maybe he'll think twice about trying to skip out on $20 next time he goes out to eat.
