A Colorado man made it very easy for police to convict him in connection with a string of home burglaries; our genius crook was wearing a GPS ankle monitor during all of them!

According to The Denver Channel, the 27-year-old had been previously convicted of theft and trespassing and was sentenced to wear an ankle bracelet that sent out a GPS log of his location every five minutes. I’m assuming he’s not the brightest bulb in the box and that he didn’t learn anything from getting caught the first time because while wearing this GPS tracker, he decided to rob 15 homes in Arapahoe County, Greenwood Village, Centennial and Cherry Hills Village and steal more than $120,000 worth of stuff.

This guy couldn’t have made investigators’ jobs any easier for this case. I’m guessing he’ll finally get to take off his ankle bracelet, I’m pretty sure you don’t need one when you’re locked up in prison.
