The retailer Abercrombie & Fitch banned a women from making online purchases at the stores website because the total price of her purchases was too much. Kim Navarra placed a $200+ order online only to receive an email telling her it was canceled because they assumed she was reselling their merchandise. To add to this situation the store also stated that they would no longer except any future orders she made.
After this story hit the new sites Abercrombie & Fitch made a statement saying that the restriction was only for her online purchases and that she was welcome to go into any store and shop.
The woman said that she did not plan on reselling the clothes. She only wears that brand and that is why she made the large buy online.
It's interesting to see that a store would reject a large purchases. I think most stores would see that kind of buy as a really good thing!
