82-Year-Old Woman Chases Down Purse Snatcher [VIDEO]

When a story starts with three women robbing a woman 50 years their senior, you generally don’t expect the senior citizen to come out on top.

But it looks like these lady purse bandits might want to hit the treadmill because one of them was chased down by the 82-year old woman whose purse she tried to steal.

According to WZVN 82-year-old Sylvia Miller is from Mansfield, Ohio. She works out daily and appears to be in better shape than most people, not just people her age.

She was shopping at Wal-Mart when she noticed three women following her out to her car. One of the women snuck up behind her, grabbed her purse and ran.

Little did she know Sylvia could run her down, and run her down she did. She chased the snatcher through the parking lot, through a field and into a thorny brush patch before the assailant gave up and returned the purse.

I had just a little bit over $100 my son had just given me and all my credit cards…I wasn't afraid one bit. I didn't even think about it. I thought, ‘You're not getting away with it.’

Sadly the suspects are still on the loose, but Sylvia says she will see them behind bars.

Move over Betty White, I just may have found a new favorite senior citizen!
