The public works director in Greeley sent out a press release this morning in regards to 71st Avenue in Greeley. High water in the Poudre river has forced the closure of the road from O street to the river.

Greeley has no other closures right now, but sections of the Poudre River Trail are still closed. Greeley's  Public Works and Water & Sewer department staff are monitor water levels and will close any  more roads deemed unsafe.

Do not drive or walk on roads or trail areas closed  due to flooding. Also, stay off of river banks as they are extremely unstable during high water and can collapse.
