1.       I haven’t read a fiction book in over 3 years.  However, I have read nearly 10 books and a bazillion online blogs or pages about pregnancy, birth, money, toddlers, sleep and living with less stuff.

2.       I have no desire to ever read or watch anything having to do with Harry Potter or Vampires.

3.       My birth parents names are Jack and Diane.

4.       I would give away my dog if I knew she would have a more active and fun life.

5.       I obsess over efficiency, the worst being routes taken from one destination to another.

6.       I think about being a vegetarian several times a week, but I eat meat almost every day.

7.       I love typing.  I love knowing 10-key, it makes me feel important.

8.       I hate exercise and until I recently took an eXtreme bodyshaping class (which I loved) I had only achieved sweatiness a couple of times during workouts.

9.       Over the last 2 years I have worn 2 pairs of shoes the most.  One is a pair of used cowboys boots I bought for $1 and the other is a pair of red clogs I bought for $140.

10.   I prefer carob over chocolate.  If you don’t know what carob is, don’t try it assuming it’s chocolate.  My husband cringes when I eat it.  I eat it solely because I prefer the taste and texture, not for any health benefit.

11.   Several times a week I drive out of my way to pass and stop at a dairy farm to watch the cows eat and marvel at how swollen and full their udders are.

12.   I just met my half sister for the first time last year.  We are very similar and I like her.

13.   My daughter was born at home in our living room…on purpose.  I didn’t leave the house for 10 days after she was born.  It was really amazing.  My brother and I were both born at home.

14.   When I was 21 I worked at a Disney radio station and a convenience store headquarters, both of which received new types of candy before the public could buy it.   I love candy.

15.   My husband was born and raised on Staten Island New York.  I have traveled a lot, but I have never been to New York.   When I met him I had to Google “Buroughs” so I knew what he was talking about.

16.   I like PBS a lot lately.

17.   There have been two times in my life I truly thought I was going to die.  One was in Costa Rica, the other was on top of Copper Mountain.

18.   In high school our group of girlfriends was Whisty, Xochitl (So-Chee), Amber, Kinsee, Ruth and Kama.  When we would introduce ourselves at a party, people would think we were lying.

19.   I didn’t believe in Indian Spirits until a very frightening experience in a casino bathroom on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation.

20.   I have held tarantulas, lizards, snakes, rabbits, frogs and horned-toads, all in the wild.

21.   My favorite color keeps changing.  So, I don’t know what it is.

22.   The first time I did karaoke I was 23 and chose Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time.  I was so nervous my knees were knocking, literally.  It was terrible.  I sounded awful and almost threw up.

23.   I used to have a reoccurring nightmare about roller skating down my grandma’s street and being chased by some creepy guy and then losing my voice as I was trying to yell for help.   I can’t roller skate.

24.   I never learned to roller skate or jump rope.  I still can’t really do either.  I grew up in the middle of nowhere with no sidewalks to skate on and I’m not sure how I missed jumping rope.

25.   When I was little I used to breed my hamsters.  The local pet store gave me $3 per hamster.  This turned out to be a very traumatic operation.
