Early this morning the Poudre Fire Authority was called out for 2-alarm fire at the Signs Now building on Riverside Avenue in Fort Collins (Between Lemay and Pitkin).  Thankfully no one was inside the building when the fire occurred, but details coming out this afternoon point to the distinct possibility of foul play.

According to the Coloradoan, PFA used about 30 firefighters and six engines to get this fire put out and they had to do it all from outside because of structural concerns with going in the building.

The Signs Now building that burned is located at 1438 Riverside Avenue in Fort Collins.

The fire was reported about 4:45 this morning, it was under control by about 7:45AM, but Riverside Ave. was closed for nearly five-hours, creating a headache from some morning commuters.

Stolen power tools and computers?! Let's hope they catch the culprits behind this.

I'm not a big fan of thieves in general, but they seem to make me a little more angry when they decided to torch someone's entire shop to try and get away with stealing a few petty possessions.
