It's hard to believe that Easter is fast approaching once again on Sunday, Apr. 17, and one of the rights of passage as a kid is going on an Easter Egg Hunt.

As a parent, egg hunts are a catch 22, sure they're a ton of fun but if you don't prepare yourself physically and mentally, they can get a little crazy. so that's what this is for: planning your hunt.

Thankfully here in Northern Colorado, there are many options on places to go along with dates and times.

Easter falls on Sunday, Apr. 17, so many of them are going to be on that Saturday, Apr. 16.

There are options for the week before which, if I'm taking my kid and I can swing it, that's when we're going because my guess - and I could be wrong here - is that it's going to be a little less crazy the week before. But you do what works for you.

Here's a bunch of them for you to pick from.

1. Fort Collins

The egg hunt is going to be on Saturday, Apr. 16 at Library Park from 11 am-1 pm and it's free.
