You Probably Didn’t Know a Coloradan Designed Star Wars’ Death Star
In a galaxy not so far, far away, lives the Colorado man created the Death Star you know from the Star Wars movies.
Kind of a cool story; as The Denver Channel reports, even Colin Cantwell's partner of 19 years didn't know he played a role in creating the Death Star, Millennium Falcon and more. According to a recent feature on 9NEWS' Next With Kyle Clark, he revealed that the big 'trench' in the Death Star was inspired by a mistake. Because of which he couldn't get two pieces of plastic in his design to fit together. George Lucas was OK with that (watch the video here).
