World’s Largest Touring Inflatable Theme Park Coming to Colorado
About a decade-and-a-half ago, the nation's biggest inflatable — and a scary one, mind you — came to a Northern Colorado corn maze attraction.
The giant inflatable "room" had obstacles aplenty packed into its dark interior. I cautiously maneuvered through the puffy, haunted halls, happy to escape unharmed.
Boy, have inflatable bounce houses and mazes changed since then. And the world's largest looks like the happiest place on earth. Oh, wait, er, well, it's not Disneyland but it isn't that giant dark one from back in the day.
How big is the world's largest bounce house?
Today, the world's biggest bounce house covers 24,000 square feet with bouncing, slides, ball pits, climbing towers, basketball hoops and a stage at the center with a DJ playing music and hosting games. The structure is 32 feet at its highest point. That's three stories high.
So, if you are looking for something fun to do with the family, it'll be in Denver starting Sept. 14 as a part of the Big Bounce America touring inflatable theme park. It definitely looks like it's worth a trip for Colorado kids of all ages.
The organizers actually plan the event with just this in mind, with sessions set aside by age:
- Toddler, for 3 and younger.
- Junior, for 7 and younger.
- Bigger kids, for 15 and younger.
- Adults, for 16 and older.

One ticket covers three hours of big bouncing and unlimited time across the whole traveling theme park. This attraction is popular, so people line up early for tickets. The presale starts Aug. 2.
What is the inflatable theme park?
The inflatable theme park includes eight huge, air-filled attractions, including a 900-plus-foot obstacle course, sports arena, space land and foam party.
