Woman Who Called Police 15,000 Times Goes To Jail

Have you ever had a person in your life that calls incessantly? It's usually a personal problem and not one fro the police, but a woman ended up in jail after calling the fuzz... 15-thousand times.

Cops in Sakai, Japan have arrested a 44-year-old woman who called them more than 15,000 times in a six-month period. She called as many times as 927 times in one day  and all of the calls were for no reason.

She didn't make up a story that required us to respond -- it was just total nonsense. We visited her place about 60 times before arresting her, trying to persuade her not to call us again. I wonder if she was just lonely."

The woman was charged with fraudulent obstruction of police business, maybe now she can spend all that quality phone-time on the line with a lawyer.

This is how I know the Japanese police are more forgiving than I am. They said they stopped at her house 60-times before arresting her. 60! I think by trip three or four I would have been ready to lock her up and take away her phone.
