Woman Gives Birth on Sled

We have all heard the stories of women having to give birth in places like a bathroom, elevator, the backs of cars and parking lots, but what about a sled?

Shirley Bonanni lives in Philadelphia and woke up to contractions.

A winter storm had just swept through the area, so rather than have her walk to the car where there might be a chance she slipped and fell, he put her on a sled and began pulling her to the car.

Before he could make it to the car, the baby decided that it wanted to be out at the moment and she gave birth right there on the sled! A neighbor had called 911 and they helped talk them through the birth. Talk about a great story!
