Happy summer, everyone. Hey, at least we're not on fire... yet.

While it may officially be the first day of summer, the Fort Collins area will have high temperatures in the 50s and 60s through the weekend with a chance for rain showers. Parts of Larimer County could possibly even see — wait for it — snow.

'It may be the first day of summer but parts of Larimer County will be under a Winter Weather Advisory this weekend,' Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority (LETA) shared on Facebook today.

Effective from 6 p.m. this evening (Friday, June 21) to 6 a.m. Sunday, the portion of Larimer County at higher elevations, west of Estes Park and Red Feather Lakes, are in a Winter Weather advisory.

Next week, temps should return to the 80s, and you know, be summer.
