A Winter Weather Advisory for the I-25 corridor, including Northern Colorado, will be in effect from midnight early Tuesday morning through Wednesday at noon.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 3-7 inches of snow, along with strong winds with the upcoming storm. The advisory starts at midnight on Tuesday, September 8, and goes until noon on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

The Fort Collins area will see a high of about 47° early on Tuesday, with rain turning to snow by the time most are driving to work.

The upper elevations will see the most amount of snow, but strong winds will make travel very difficult across the I-25 corridor.

On the bright side, the moisture will help in fighting the Cameron Peak Fire, and most Labor Day weekend traveling will be completed by Monday evening.
