Picture this: you're spending your Sunday evening relaxing with loved ones at a mountain-side winery, eating cheese, and being serenaded by the amazing voice of a country superstar.

Sounds pretty great, right?

Well, for just $25, you can make that happen. Just click here, and then you'll have a spot at A Night With Steve Manshel at Sweet Heart Winery on November 17.

Starting at 5 p.m., the event will offer plenty of hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and a live performance from Steve Manshel, an award-winning singer and former member of the country rock band Firefall.

However, the best part of this event is that it benefits Easterseals Colorado, an organization that supports local adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Easterseals offers these adults a variety of helpful programs, including skill classes, transportation help, and job training.

While every program is different, each one has the same goal: to help the adult be as independent as they can be.

"All of our services are meant to fall away," said Katie Dockery, Vice President of the Northern Colorado Services for Easterseals. "We want to be able to support our individuals to learn their skills, and be independent, and do it themselves."

The organization also offers respite programs for caregivers, so they are able to get the break they need in order to provide quality care to their individual.

And even though the purpose of Easterseals is to positively impact adults with disabilites and their caregivers, the reverse is also true.

In the eight years she has been at the organization, the individuals there have touched Dockery's heart more times than she can count.

"It's wonderful to see how happy they are to see me and how happy they are to be where they're at," said Dockery. "It's a wonderful opportunity to be able to serve individuals with disabilities."
