Windsor's Parks, Recreation, and Culture department have stated that the relocation is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fireworks will be launching from a location between the Poudre River Trail and New Liberty Road, which is the highest point in the town of Windsor.

Windsor residents should be able to see the display from their yard. If it is not possible to see the fireworks from your home, residents are being asked to disperse into green spaces along the sidewalks and bike paths while practicing social distancing.

The fireworks are scheduled to begin at around 9:10 p.m. on July 4.
