Windsor Pedestrian Hit by Car in Crosswalk

A pedestrian walking across the crosswalk at 6th Street and Main Street in Windsor was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, December 9.

Update 3:53 p.m.

The Windsor Police Department has confirmed that an 11-year-old middle school student was struck by a vehicle when the driver could not see due to the sun. The student has a leg injury, which is not life threatening.

More details will come in as soon as we have them, but the pedestrian was transported from the scene by ambulance.
