UPDATED 1:25 P.M.: The Holiday Twin has been allowed to stay open by the Larimer Health Department. See their post:

The owners of the Holiday Twin woke up to some surprising news: some drive-ins in Colorado are open against the state's orders.

The Holiday Twin has been working hard with the Larimer County Health Department to ensure that their new COVID-19 restrictions allow them to be open this summer, but a recent article made them rethink their plan. Read their full Facebook post below:

Many in the comments sounded off, saying that they attended the drive-in and felt safe and distanced from others in a proper way. I, myself, attended the drive-in this past weekend and felt like there were several measures in place to keep patrons safe: socially distant bathroom rules, adequately spaced parking, and online ordering for food and drinks.

The Holiday Twin will be sure to keep fans updated on whether or not they'll have to close again going forward, and we'll keep you updated on that news right here.
