Could it be?

Could Jared Polis, the Governor of the great state of Colorado actually be the iconic Casa Bonita's next big cliff-diving sensation?

It seems as though Polis is ready to start putting in the work to make that dream a reality -

... or is he?

On Friday morning (Apr. 1), Governor Polis took to Twitter to share the following message:

"FOr fans Of Casa Bonita Like me, today iS A good day to start training to cliff dive, esPecially with the iconic Restaurant coming back onlIne after a Limited hiatus."

At first glance at the tweet, it all looked pretty legit to me - I mean, nothing out of the ordinary for Polis to be tweeting a message from his verified account, even if it was something as wild as the mere thought of the Governor cliff diving for his fellow Coloradans and visitors alike at one of the most well-known establishments in the entire state.

But you do realize what day it is, right?

After doing a deeper dive into the now-deemed cryptic tweet, it looks like Polis was simply just trying to take part in all the April Fools fun; if you analyze the tweet a little closer, you'll notice that he capatilzed certain letters within his words that, dramatically, shouldn't be capitalized.

If you take another look at the tweet, you'll see what I mean:

"FOr", "iS", "esPecially" - he did this intentionally, and, because I have so much time on my hands, I've decided to crack the code myself; if you were to put every capitalized letter in the tweet together to form its own word, you'd be left with "FOOLS APRIL" .

I guess this means Gov. Polis won't be swinging from vines and cliff diving at the revamped Casa Bonita anytime soon.

Very well played, Polis... very well played.
