Who Needs Water Balloons? Fire Hoses Will Drench Kids in Kersey
If there's every been a time for kids to be kids, it's these recent times. Small town fun and games are scheduled for Kesey and their annual Splash Day.
Summertime for kids should be about running around with friends getting soaked and screaming; for at least one day. That day is coming up in Kersey, only about 10 miles east of Greeley.
SPLASH DAY IN KERSEY
The annual event will be on Friday July 15, 2022, right in the heart of summertime. It'll be free to attend, and they'll be serving up a free lunch. Kids can get signed up for the prize giveaway, but the main event will be when the fire truck shows up.
This has "kids" written all over it. They'll have inflatables and games, and they can bring out the own squirt guns and super soakers; they're only asked to not bring any water balloons. Who really needs the mess and hassle of water balloons when you have a fire truck on the way to really drench you?
That rig is going to pull up and the kids are going to go bananas. Everyone should make sure that they are ready to roll film, because this will be better than any sprinkler in the yard video that they might have saved.
