So with a fresh coat of snow that we received this weekend, you may be taking in the activities of sledding and making snow angels. But have you ever tried making "Snow Ice Cream" before? I tried this with my kids a few years ago after seeing it on the internet, and I was skeptical of it at first. But I have to say. It tastes AWESOME! The best part of it is that you don't need tons of snow to make it happen. Just enough to fill up a bowl (you pick the size bowl) and you can enjoy it to your hearts desire.

Here's the recipe...and believe me. It is easy!

1.) Gather the following ingredients and mix them in a small bowl:

  • (1) 14 oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Any other flavors you want to include

2.) Gather your snow and put it in a plastic bowl to minimize heat transfer so the snow doesn't melt as quick as if it was in a metal bowl.

3.) Pour some of the sweetened condensed milk mixture into the snow and mix vigorously. If you use half of the mixture, it will make it more "fluffy like". If you use the whole mixture, it will make it more "commercial like".

4.) Serve it immediately in bowls and enjoy!

It's that easy! Let us know if you try it and what you think!
