If you're a fan of frolfing and enjoy playing competitively, get yourself signed up for Wellington's 3rd Annual Chamber II Rounds Disc Golf Tournament, happening on Saturday, August 27 at the challenging course located at Rice Elementary SchoolDisc golfers of all skill levels will have fun participating in this singles tourney, which will be broken down into open, intermediate, recreational and advanced divisions. Two rounds of 18 will be played, with prizes being awarded to the top placers within each category. Wellington Disc Golf Course is located at 3rd Street and Mt. Oxford Street, about a fifteen minute drive from Fort Collins. The course is mostly flat, is sprinkled with a good amount of trees, and has a few long crusher-holes too.

The entry fee is $25 per person, and includes both breakfast and lunch, courtesy of the Fort Collins Disc Golf Association. Individuals who pre-register by August 18 will receive a player pack, featuring a tourney t-shirt and swag. Players are also encouraged to find a company sponsor, for the chance to win one-year Wellington Chamber membership by finishing in first place in the Open Division. Not only is this tournament fun, but it benefits a great cause too, with a majority of the proceeds going towards supporting Harvest Farm in Wellington.

Breakfast and check-in/registration will last from 9-10 a.m., with the first round kicking off at 10:15 a.m. Lunch will be served from 1-1:30 p.m., followed by the start of the second round promptly after. Frolfers over the age of 21 can stay refreshed with microbrews being served up on the course by Old Colorado Brewing Company. Plus, players are invited to stick around after the tournament for the awards ceremony and more games and prizes.
