Wellington House Fire Claims the Lives of Three Dogs
PFA and Wellington Fire responded to a house fire on Monday, Oct 4, 2021, in Wellington. Though the residents of the home were away, their pets were at home.
Not many details are available when it comes to the horrible news that three dogs were pronounced deceased at the scene of the fire at the home near the corner of Crittenton and Meade Street.
Poudre Fire stated the residents of the home were away, and had been notified. Two Larimer County Sheriff Deputies were treated from smoke inhalation at the scene.
Poudre Fire Authority investigators are looking into the fire, that also may have claimed the life of a cat which is unaccounted for.
