The Weld County Sheriff's Office tweeted today in an attempt to warn the public about a recent string of thefts involving specific car parts: wheels, rims, and tires.

After stealing these items, according to the press release, the suspects would ditch the rest of the car in a remote location. You can see the full tweet below:

In order to prevent this kind of theft from happening, the WSCO urges residents to buy wheel locks and to be wary of Craigslist deals that "seem too good to be true".
