Welcome to the World! Here are the First NoCo Babies of 2020
New Year's Day was extra special for these three couples.
Cheyenne and Brandon McEndaffer, of Sterling, welcomed their daughter Jolie Rae McEndaffer at 6:17 a.m. on New Year's Day at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
At 5 pounds, 10.5 ounces, and 18.5 inches, Jolie was not only the hospital's first baby of 2020, but also the first baby for the McEndaffers.
Cheyenne said that Jolie's arrival made this "the best New Year's Day they've ever had."
Tiffany Marquez and Hector Rafael Kohen Sandoval, of Greeley, welcomed their son Hector Rafael Kohen, Jr. at 2:10 a.m. on New Year's Day, making him the first baby born at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in 2020.
After two and a half days of labor, Hector came into the world at 3 pounds, 3 ounces, and 15.25 inches. He is currently at the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a protective crib.
The proud parents said their baby "is a huge blessing coming into a new year for us."
Emily Gibson and Michael Pruett, of Longmont, welcomed their son Colm William Pruett at 4:07 a.m. on New Year's Day at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont.
The hospital honored Colm, born at 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and 19.5 inches, for being their first baby born in 2020 with a red wagon and other gifts.
Congratulations to these three new Northern Coloradans and their proud parents. Happy New Year.
