Didn't the world learn a terrible lesson after shining the fame spotlight on Rebeccca Black? Apparently not. This is the new video from New York singer/songwriter Gnesa. Somehow the Internet is buzzing about the track the her video for the song. (It's closing on on 350k views in less than two weeks.)

Maybe I'm way off base, but this might be one of the worst songs I have ever heard. Please note, I am not attacking Gnesa, "the person". She's probably a very nice girl and maybe she has a good singing voice, and maybe she tries real hard. But I can't even wrap my head around how so many people are seemingly "all-about" this song.

If you look through the first two pages of comments on the YouTube video, there are so many positive comments and comments professing their love for the song and/or the lyrics that it makes me think that this must be some kind of joke.

People usually post mean and nasty comments of stuff that's actually good. And I smell something fishy when a song like this has 100% positive feedback from hundreds of  people claiming it is the greatest song ever written.

I mean, the chorus is an off-key, "La la la la la la la."

According to her Facebook page, Gnesa has nearly 3,000 friends, none of whom seem to comment on her page.  I smell some sort of scam...

What do you think? I think this song makes "Friday" sound like a Grammy-winning track. But maybe I'm just way off-base.

Gnesa, if you are real and read this. I hope you continue working on your music career and do what makes you happy. I just never want to hear this song again.
