Video Footage of a Guy Who “Saw” Abraham Lincoln Get Shot is Uploaded to Youtube

When I first read the headline, I was a little confused. The Lincoln assassination was so long ago, how would somebody have a video of a witness. Then my brain started to do some math and the video helped me out a little as well. The video is from a game show in 1956 and they had a special guest come on the show who was alive when Lincoln was President and he was at the theater the night Lincoln was shot.

This video was uploaded back in '09 but is just now starting to get noticed. I think that this is so cool! An account from someone who was there! I just love stuff like this. It must be the history nerd in me.
