Vampire Feared in Serbia Boost Garlic Sales

This is a little out there. the local council in Serbia issues a public health warning that there may be a vampire on the loose. Why did they issue this? Well, an old ruined mill collapsed and it was supposedly once the home of a notorious vampire.  At the news of this warning people went out and began buying garlic causing a boost in garlic sales. After the mill collapsed rumors began that the vampire has been released and everyone started worrying. The Mayor had this to say:

People are worried, everybody knows the legend of this vampire and the thought that he is now homeless and looking for somewhere else and possibly other victims is terrifying people. We are all frightened."
