I love cartoons and I always will. It is just a fact of life. One thing I have to say though is, cartoons are not the same that they used to be. Cartoons used to be funny, creative, imaginative, original and full of innuendos. I didn't really get them when I was younger but re-watching some of them now, I see it.   Don't get me wrong, there are some cartoons today are pretty fun, but not like they used to be. Case in point, this unaired episode of 'Dexter's Laboratory'.  If I remember correctly this show had quite a few innuendos and was pretty funny. With this episode resembles something along the lines of a 'Ren and Stimpy' episode.

I enjoyed watching this episode now and probably would have liked it as a kid as well, but I don't think that my parents would have liked it so much. This episode features the "rude" altar egos of Dexter and Dee Dee running around cursing and well, being rude. While the other Dexter and Dee Dee are proper and for some reason they have a slight British accent.

This isn't the first time that a unaired episode of a cartoon has come up. There have been countless 'Ren and Stimpy' ones as well as a few others. Maybe they are "airing" them now because they figure that their fan base has grown up enough to enjoy them properly.

What are your thoughts? Do you think that they should release episodes like this that they never have aired or do you think that they should just stay unaired and not tarnish your childhood memories of the show?
