Two Wedding Parties Brawl At Philadelphia Hotel

The combination of two wedding parties, one with an open bar, one with a paid bar, in the same hotel was a recipe for disaster. In Philadelphia at a Sheraton Hotel, it was just a normal day with two groups of people celebrating the happiest day of their life when things got a little dicey.

One of the wedding receptions had an open bar, and the other had a paid bar. Some people from the paid bar reception decided it would be a good idea to go crash the open bar reception and take advantage of the free booze. The brawl lasted about 20 minutes and involved 75-100 people and sadly one man died from an apparent heart attack. Three people were arrested.
