Truck Holding 20 Million Bees Overturns on Highway

This is like something straight out of a horror movie.

A truck hauling 20 million bees overturned in Delaware on Tuesday unleashing the buzzy wrath of its contents.

Officials say that the driver was attempting the ramp when the wooden crates holding the bee shifted causing the trailer to hit a guardrail and overturn. After impact, 20 million bees swarmed the ramp. The driver and two passengers of the truck were taken to the hospital for about 50 to 100 stings each.

The ramp remained closed while officials and three bee handlers tried to wrangle the bees. It took about 13 hours to handle and about 90 percent of the bees were lost.
