Travis Barker Putting Out Solo Album

Not only is Travis Barker helping with the New Blink-182 album, coming out later this year, he has also been working on a solo album. "Give The Drummer Some" is Barkers solo album, due out March 15th, that he started before the plane crash that he was seriously injured in back in 2008.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Travis talked about the accident and the album. "Honestly, I never thought the album would be finished, for a while after my accident, I was just recovering. No one really thought I would be able to play drums after all the surgeries and everything. That was always on my mind. Once I was in the studio, it was like, 'I can walk now, I can play the drums still. I have to finish this.'"

I was fortunate enough to see him shed on the drums on the Blink-182 reunion tour, so I am kind of excited to see what route he decided to do solo, and I am excited about the new Blink-182 album. Barker also is going on tour with Lil' Wayne later this year.
