The 72-par course in Berthoud, CO, will see a lot of action this week during the four rounds of play. The first two days of the tournament will consist of 156 participants playing two rounds of 18 holes. Saturday morning, that number will be cut to 65 as the bottom half will exit the tournament.

TPC Colorado is a critical course on the Korn Ferry Tour. The scenic course is one of the final five events of the Tour and can be a make-or-break tournament for players trying to make it into the PGA. This week some of the top golfers en-route to play alongside big stars like Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, and Bubba Watson will be right here in Northern Colorado.

After the first round of play, Taylor Moore is leading the pack shooting 9 under par. He is followed by Candler Eaton, Charlie Saxon, Michael Miller, and Julián Etulain all tied for the second shooting, 5 under.

So far, crowd turnout has been amazing as TPC Colorado has sold an estimated 5,000 tickets for the week, according to tournament director Drew Blass. Crowds followed the top players around the beautiful course and watched closely as they competed to be in the top half of the field after day one. Fans have been eager to return as last year's tournament was a closed event.

Even still, last year's final round was exciting as it saw the 2021 Master's runner-up Will Zalatorios win on the last hole shooting a -15, just one stroke less than second-place Chase Johnson. This year, six players boating PGA Tour victories are competing, including Cherry Creek resident and former World No. 1 David Duval.

With a field filled with experienced Pros and exciting young players, the tournament should be exciting, to say the least! You can bet the last two days especially will be filled with drama. Check out more photos of the event right here:
