Cars back up in long lines weekly at drive-thrus run by the Larimer and Weld county food banks.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, carts full of groceries are prepared and wheeled out for carside delivery. Those with with transportation challenges have walk-up windows to use.

The food banks estimate there's currently more than 10,000 food-sensitive families in Northern Colorado — and the demand continues to grow during the pandemic.

Townsquare Cares: Feeding NoCo has returned in 2020 to make sure each of these families in need can enjoy a proper holiday meal during these difficult times. The fundraiser is made possible by Auto Collision Experts body shops.

You can make a donation by texting FeedNoCo to 50155 or by visiting Feednoco.org. All funds collected go directly to the Larimer and Weld Food Banks.

Townsquare Media staff volunteered at both the Larimer and Weld food bank to kick off the 2020 promotion, helping fill carts and sort food.
