Tim Burton Remaking ‘Frankenweenie,’ One of His Earliest Movies [VIDEOS]

Back in 1984, a young Tim Burton was just starting out as a filmmaker; and he decided to do a different take on the classic "Frankenstein" tale.  Thus, the 30-minute, black-and-white Frankenweenie came to be.

Now it seems Burton is returning to his roots, bringing his decades of experience back to his original idea.  Frankenweenie is coming to the silver screen as a modern, stop motion animated feature film.

Both the original and new versions have that wonderful Burton-esque feel.  I'm excited to see how the new one shapes up!
