The town of Eaton, Colorado has just over 5,000 residents. That same town has produced three athletes who are currently playing in the NFL; Trent Sieg, Austin Ekeler and Mitch Unrein. All three played for Eaton High School.

  • Trent Sieg is a a long snapper from Colorado State University who was signed by the Raiders on Wednesday to replace injured long-snapper Andrew DePaola. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens last spring as an undrafted free agent.
  • Austin Ekeler is a running back for the Los Angeles Chargers, who played his college football at Western State. He is in his 2nd year with the team.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense end Mitch Unrein has played in the NFL for 8 years, including 4 years with the Broncos. Mitch played at the University of Wyoming.

It's pretty impressive that a town the size of Eaton has produced so many great athletes.
