If you haven't already heard, there is a brand new Muppet movie hitting theatres this Thanksgiving. And in a marketing directors dream-come-true, a  slew of rock stars has been rounded up to contribute to a compilation of Muppet song remakes.

Weezer, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Amy Lee of Evanescence, and The Fray are just a few of the artists in on the action.   The collection will be called "The Green Album" and will be released on August 23.

The new  Muppet Movie also has some big musical guests rumored to show up in it.  Dave Grohl, Jack Black, and Lady Gaga are all names expected to have appearances in the movie.

According to NME the tracklisting for 'The Green Album' is as follows:

  • Matt Nathanson – 'Hope That Something Better Comes Along'
  • Rachael Yamagata – 'I'm Going To Go Back There Someday'
