Over the weekend I posted a question on my Facebook on what movie I should see to review and the people spoke and voted for ' The Lorax'. Of course this movie is an adaption of Dr. Seuss' classic tale of a creature that is a guardian of the trees. The movie follows the book pretty closely with the environmental aspect and the dangers of deforestation and of course the characters. Danny DeVito did an excellent job voicing the Lorax and Ed Helms made a great Once-ler. Even Taylor Swift did a great job and I was a little surprised that since there was some singing in the movie, she didn't sing once. But , Betty White sang and that brought a smile to my face.

It is a perfect film for both children and adults. It has a positive message and does a great job of telling the story. Normally in a film with a lot of kids you hear parents shushing them a lot or just kids screaming in general, but no this. I think the cute animals, bright colors and fun songs made it a great film for even the antsiest  kids.

Overall I would give 'The Lorax' 5 out of 5 Truffula trees

'The Lorax' is Rated PG for brief mild language
