The City of Fort Collins Cancels Fourth of July Festivities
Were you hoping you'd be able to celebrate the fourth of July with a FoCo bash this year? Think again.
According to a press release from the Director of Parks, the City of Fort Collins is canceling "this year’s traditional Fourth of July activities, including the community parade and evening fireworks display."
The City Manager noted that it was a difficult decision to make, but the "collective health and safety" of Fort Collins citizens is the most important thing right now.
The City of Fort Collins is currently working hard to find alternative activities to celebrate Independence Day safely, and we will be sure to update you as soon as those are announced.
