If you live in Colorado, you know that the real estate market in the Mile High City is, in fact, a mile high. In other words, it's expensive. According to KDVR, the average home price in January 2021 was expected to reach $600,000 for the city of Denver.
However, I have found a home that is currently well under the average home price for the city of Denver, but it's going to need work. A lot of work. The Denver home, located at 1530 West Bayaud Avenue, is currently listed for $225,000 and has been on the market for 103 days. The home's listing calls the property a "great investment opportunity" that would be best suited for a demolition and new build.
The main level of the home is not fully enclosed, which would make for quite a cold winter. There are also dirt floors and framing only on the main level. There is also no electricity, water, or sewer to the property, with no information on if the tap fees have been paid.
